Joanne Schwartz’s children’s book is nominated for a Governor General’s Literary Award for Young People’s Literature – Illustrated Books.   Created in 1937, winners of the Governor General’s Literary Awards include Thomas King, Madeleine Thien, Michael Ondaatje, Alice Munro and Margaret Atwood.
